Welcome to The Mind Candy, a project I have been working on since 1993, it's the type of music that I'd like to hear more of, and I very much hope that all of you will enjoy listening to it as I have had making it. I just wanted to say that this was a labor of love, but far from an easy road, this recording and lyrics encompass the entire middle part of my twenties.  I want to thank the old Ground Zero in Hollywood, the only coffee house that would let me use an electric guitar, and where at least 3 of these songs were born. There are some that would be interested to know that this album is all analogue recorded, there were about 7 guitars used in recording this CD, but only 1 bass, and 1 keyboard. My inspirations are Syd Barrett (see my site www.sydbarrett.net ), Pink Floyd, Lou Reed (Velvet Underground), Roy Orbison, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Glenn Danzig and The Misfits (prior to 84'), and many many more. Lets' take back the music scene and stop the corporate world from telling us what we like.
